Netflix could help you learn a new language in lockdown - and other ways to master a new lingo

There are dozens of foreign series on Netflix that are perfect for practising your preferred language.

Rather than listening to a really bad dub of English, switch the subtitles on and listen to the language being spoken in its glory.

Or, for those who want to see how the language is written, listen in English and switch the subtitles on for the language you are learning.

A really good one to check out is Criminal - there is an English series, as well as a French Spanish and German version, all of them different, but the equally compelling drama as they follow the interrogation of a suspect by law enforcement.
